The Lodge

We are extremely proud of our well designed Sandstone Lodge that consists of 16 en-suite bedrooms.  Most suites have fireplaces or Queen Ann stoves, while the executive suites are equipped with under floor heating.  Guests can make use of our billiard room, honesty bar, library and the upstairs sun room, where an amazing view of the reserve and mountains can be enjoyed.

Meals

Breakfast

A hearty breakfast is enjoyed on the spacious stoep of the family farmhouse (or in the large lounge of the house in cold weather), with a great view of Visierskerf mountain.  It is a buffet meal with everything from freshly baked muffins to sausages.  

Lunch

No formal lunch is offered.  However, a picnic lunch can be ordered and enjoyed at any of our scenic picnic spots, on one of our short walks, or wherever you like to.

Dinner

Served in the Bamboesbos or Silverspoon Restaurant. This is one of the best country restaurants where our qualified chef (who has worked in two of SA’s top restaurants) will prepare exquisite food to your taste.  The restaurant is fully licensed and there will also be attended to any special requests. (Please note that a corkage fee will be charged for own liquor.)

Langesnek Leadership Centre

This terrain, situated 2 km from the Moolmanshoek Lodge is the base for the Leadership Centre and the hiking trails, with three types of accommodation for groups.  The "Skeerhokke" can accommodate up to 100 persons in two large dormitories.  The hikers house can accommodate 18 hikers or other persons, while there also are 9 double rooms, two of them with their own bathrooms.  There are two lapa kitchens for self-catering, and a large, well-equipped kitchen where group meals are prepared by the staff.
